Blood contains red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. Using a specialised centrifugation process, the platelet-rich plasma is separated from the red blood cells and prepared for treatment.

A small blood sample is collected and processed in a centrifuge to prepare the PRP.
Following preparation, a topical anaesthetic may be applied before the PRP is administered to areas of hair thinning.
